For Sauvage Parfum I imagined the encounter between intense freshness and oriental sweetness. The strong aromatic freshness of Sauvage Parfum is illuminated by the crackling of a pulpy and spicy mandarin. The inebriating swirls of a sweet tonka bean with leathery and pungent accords envelop a sillage dominated by the precious Sri Lankan sandalwood. Coming from a Sri Lankan plantation that has been a Dior partner for over 10 years, the sandalwood present in Sauvage Parfum is characterized by rich nuances and exceptional qualities, obtained thanks to extremely specific cultivation methods. Difficult to cultivate, it is initially accompanied in its growth, to then be "released" in a completely wild plantation, where nature takes back its spaces. In this inclement and primordial universe, on which the hand of man does not intervene, each tree continues its development and struggles to grow luxuriantly, sometimes reaching 100 years of age and more than 12 meters in height. It is at this price that its exclusive olfactory properties are outlined, year after year, giving life to the rare, powerful and rich sandalwood essence typical of Sauvage.
